To new beginnings.
Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.
I am leaving my wonderful company for an even better opportunity to grow. I have been feeling very sad about leaving the people I work with (I love them), but I have taken from this great experience and life long friends, best of both worlds. I am very excited to start at my new company (Uwe Koetter), meeting new colleagues and learning new skills and information. Number one priority is building my career and number two is my lifestyle habits.(Grain Brain in my previous blog post.)
Oh yes! hehe, If anyone is thinking about purposing to their other halves please feel free to contact me, I’m still in training but will be able assist you with a beautiful ring! Everyone needs to start somewhere.
Back to new beginnings;
Big changes are happening in my life and I felt that I needed to take control…my partner suggested I cut my hair shorter…
I went in stages:Stage 1- long hair, just above my bum. Stage 2- this was my first trim, was cut till my chest. Loved the short fresh look… Got me thinking about going shorter. I told everyone I was going shorter, they loved my long hair, so was not so supportive. Stage 3- don’t we all like a good car selfie! This was after the 2nd hair cut! I was loving the short hair and I got such lovely compliment too (bonus.) To think I would stop there.
Stage 4- last hair cut! And it’s goes from long to short, the back is short front is long. I love it!
I felt like I needed a good change, fresh look, in-order to go with the big changes happening in my life. Maybe it is my coping mechanism.
I used to think I was a creature of habit… not anymore!
Change is good and I have learnt to embrace it.
Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.
